From your PASSION to ours Lactalis Midwest Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Manufacturing & Engineering Intern based in Reed City, MI for a 12 week summer internship program starting in May 2026. As an intern, you will support the plant’s strategic goals in process optimization, safety, and continuous improvement while fostering professional development through collaboration, documentation, and project involvement. From your EXPERTISE to ours During your internship you will: Build your capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems. Gain front line exposure to 24/7 production to leverage problem solving and learning agility while driving improvements and eliminating losses. Learn from and lead Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow your coaching, team building and people-development skills set.? Manage programs to gain experience in capital project ownership, new system startups and / or initiative leadership. This internship is expected to start in May 2026 and run for 12 weeks. Requirements From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor’s engineering or engineering technology degree in: mechanical, industrial, electrical, chemical, biosystems, agricultural, or biological. Graduating in winter of 2026 or spring of 2027 Preferred Qualifications: Strong academic record Strong interpersonal skills, high learning agility, analytical and decision-making skills Demonstrated people, technical, and process leadership skills, with a proactive approach to taking initiative and contributing to team success
