Description This position will focus on maintenance of all factory equipment, as well as process engineering through the development of tools, jigs, and processes. Position Responsibilities · Perform maintenance on all factory equipment. This maintenance includes: Preventative maintenance (PM) -Scheduling (PM) -Non-scheduled maintenance and repairs -Equipment includes: Air compressors, potting machines, PCBA machines, cable production machines, torque wrenches, air lines and fittings, air tools, etc. · Provide technical support to the production floor. · Ensure all processes, equipment, and supporting systems operate to their optimum effectiveness within specified safety and cost constraints. · Evaluate and implement new methods, tools, processes, and equipment to aid production in effectively and efficiently building products. · Provide facility support as needed. · Support continual process improvement projects. · Interface with Quality to ensure process integrity. · Provide technical expertise to production on training of personnel. · Developing processes, including developing new capabilities and improving existing capabilities. Requirements · High school diploma or general education degree (GED) · 5+ years in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience · Ability to read work instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers in English · Strong leadership abilities including interpersonal skills, effective communication, ability to train, give constructive feedback, and motivate a team (e.g. being upbeat, enthusiastic and eager to help the company) · Strong initiative and problem-solving skills · Ability to work both independently and in a team environment · Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including sitting and standing, and performing repetitive motions required for proper assembly with or without a reasonable accommodation · Ability to work well in a fast paced, changing environment · Ability to lift, push pool and carry materials up to 10 lbs,, · Ability to operate tools machinery or office equipment safely. · Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels. · Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
