Our R&D department based in Nonantola (MO) is a center of global competence for Compact Hydraulic products Job Description The Manufacturing Assembly and Testing Responsible is accountable for overseeing and optimizing assembly and testing processes within the manufacturing environment. The role ensures that products are assembled and tested according to quality standards, production targets, and safety regulations, while driving continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily assembly and testing activities to ensure adherence to production plans and quality requirements. Define, maintain, and improve assembly and test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation. Ensure proper execution of testing protocols and validation activities for products and components. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Analyze production and test data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with Industrial Engineering and Quality teams to optimize workflows and reduce cycle times. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, ISO requirements, and customer specifications. Support audits (internal and external) and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. Monitor KPIs related to assembly and testing performance (yield, scrap rate, rework, test coverage). Coordinate and support assembly and testing technicians/operators. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams during product launches and process changes. Provide technical training and guidance to production staff. Ensure availability, calibration, and maintenance of testing equipment and assembly tools. Support the introduction of new equipment and automation solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3–7+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, or industrial operations. Knowledge of assembly processes, testing methodologies, and manufacturing workflows. Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, root cause analysis). Experience with ERP/MES systems and production documentation. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Leadership and team coordination capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma knowledge is a plus).
