The Role Biolog is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support in-house manufacturing of Biolog consumable products within our Operations Consumables Production team in Hayward, CA. Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Operations, this role is responsible for executing methods and protocols for chemical formulation of reagents, manufacturing workflows, and final packaging of finished goods. This position may also support shipping-related activities as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards for safety, documentation, and product quality. Requirements Where You Make a Difference · Perform chemical manufacturing laboratory activities including formulation, sterilization, and proper storage of solutions according to established process documentation · Conduct semi-automated manufacturing workflows including filling and drying reagents on microplates · Use customized reagents and cell growth media according to established manufacturing procedures · Perform packaging and labeling operations and maintain finished goods inventory · Test solutions used in reagent preparation (pH, contamination, concentration, and other characteristics) · Test packaging materials to verify conformity to specifications · Record test results on standardized forms and documentation systems · Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment · Calibrate laboratory instruments as required · Prepare chemical solutions using standard formulas · Adjust formulations by adding chemicals or raw materials to meet product specifications · Support shipping activities when required, including picking, packing, and preparing cartons What You Bring · Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, chemical science, or related discipline from a four-year college or university OR two years of college education plus 1–2 years of experience in an in vitro diagnostic, chemical/biochemical manufacturing, or related laboratory field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) · Familiarity with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus · Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills · Ability to comprehend English sufficiently to understand safety rules, labels, and work instructions · Ability to work independently, organize tasks, and prioritize workload effectively What We Offer · Competitive compensation (base + commission) · Comprehensive medical coverage with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and 75% for dependents, plus dental and vision included · Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance · Flexible paid time off and paid sick leave · 13 paid holidays · 401(k) · Stock options Annual Salary: $30.00-$35.00/hour Note: This is an on-site position in our Hayward Office.
