The Manufacturing Associate will use hand tools and saws to prepare doors for use in residential and commercial applications. Essential Duties · Sets up work station at beginning of shift, and cleans up work area at end of shift. · Safely uses hand and power tools to pre-hang doors for residential and commercial application. · Machining interior and exterior doors · Assembling interior and exterior doorframes. · Pull appropriate components to complete door frames. · Visually inspects product for quality standards. · Assist in other areas as needed. Requirements Qualifications · High School Diploma or GED preferred. · Experience with machining, especially with wood, is highly preferred. · Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to use and read a tape measure. · Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and a safety mindset · Previous experience of manufacturing or assembly of wood products a plus. · Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details and perform repetitive work. · Team Player and willingness to help in other areas · Must be at least 18 years of age. · Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, loud noises, dust and extreme temperatures; PPE required (i.e. safety glasses). Standing and/or walking for the duration of shift (at least 8-10 hours per day). Able to lift 75lbs. on a regular basis throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Associate will use hand and power tools to prepare, machine, and assemble interior and exterior doors and doorframes for residential and commercial use. This includes setting up the workstation, pulling components, and visually inspecting the final product for quality standards.
