OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Manufacturing Automation Specialist to support and improve the automation systems within our high-security instant lottery ticket manufacturing and packaging facility. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with advanced technology in a secure environment, ensuring our processes are both efficient and flawless. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial automation, strong problem-solving skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

EDUCATION:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in automation or controls engineering in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI development, and industrial networking.
  • Familiarity with packaging machinery, motion control systems, and safety interlocks.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Experience in a secure or regulated industry is a plus.
  • Must pass background checks and align with strict security protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other automation components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated production and packaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Develop and modify control logic and programs to support new products and process improvements.
  • Ensure all automation systems align with safety, quality, and security standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of control systems, wiring diagrams, and software changes.
  • Support the integration of new equipment and technologies into existing production lines.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Stay current with advancements in automation technology and recommend upgrades as needed.
