Summary of position The Manufacturing Clerk supports manufacturing operations through inventory transaction accuracy, production reporting, material coordination, and manufacturing documentation control. This role serves as a critical link between Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Inventory Control to ensure operational data integrity and material visibility. Responsibilities Process inventory transactions for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within ERP/WMS systems. Maintain daily production records, movement reports, and manufacturing documentation. Support inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations. Coordinate material requests and verify material availability for production operations. Track and document inventory movements between production, warehouse, and logistics functions. Prepare KPI reports and production summaries for Operations leadership. Ensure accuracy of production paperwork, inventory records, and transaction data. Support audit readiness through proper document retention and record management. Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Inventory teams to resolve transaction issues. Monitor inventory variances and escalate discrepancies for investigation and resolution. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing reports to support operational decision-making. Maintain production schedules, work order documentation, and manufacturing records. Assist with material staging coordination to support schedule attainment and production readiness. Support physical inventory counts and annual inventory audit activities. Review and verify data integrity between ERP transactions and physical inventory movements. Identify opportunities to improve transaction accuracy and administrative processes. Provide administrative support for continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects. Coordinate communication between manufacturing, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain teams.
