QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing design, preferably in robotics, automation, or mechatronics systems.
Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks), as well as SolidWorks Composer (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of PDM/PLM systems for CAD and BOM management.
Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance analysis.
Experience with machining, injection molding, and 3D printing.
Good understanding of standards and safety compliance

Responsibilities

CAD & Technical Documentation
Develop detailed 2D & 3D technical drawings for manufacturing (exploded views, assembly instructions…)
Define and document critical safety features on technical drawings.
Maintain accurate CAD-based BOMs and guarantee proper revision control.
Design for Assembly (DFA)
Ensure that tolerances, GD&T, and material selection align with manufacturing capabilities.
Work with quality and supply chain teams to ensure parts meet quality and cost targets.
Investigate and resolve design-related production issues to improve efficiency and quality.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety standards for robotic systems (ISO, CE, OSHA, UL…)
Collaborate with other teams to ensure certifications for humanoid robotic systems.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
Work with mechanical, electronics and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
Participate in design reviews, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
