Job Description : MANUFACTURING DESIGN ENGINEER
Role: You will have a high level of technical expertise and skill which you will use to plan, design, setup, modify, optimise, and monitor in support of Design and production. You will be a creative and analytical thinker. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as in a team setting.

• Using design software to assist in design and development of product’s that are technically feasible and commercially profitable.
• As appropriate, to research and keep up to date with new materials, part’s and methods of deployment.
• To develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the company’s production processes and machinery.
• Organise and maintain engineering records.
• Build and Continuously review Bill of Materials and liaising with the relevant teams to ensure any discrepancies or changes are communicated.
• Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards.
• Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required.
• Providing production / engineering support
• Keep cost limits and budgets for new designs in mind during design process and implementing cost-effective production methods.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
