Summary: The Manufacturing Draftsman is responsible for converting customer-approved sales designs into accurate, production-ready manufacturing drawings and documentation. Serving as a key link between Sales, Design, and Production, this role ensures designs are reviewed for accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with company standards, while providing detailed drawings and 3D assembly views to support efficient fabrication, assembly, and installation. This position partners cross-functionally with Sales, Production, Installation, and Service teams to resolve design challenges and support a seamless, quality-focused customer experience from order through final installation. Duties/Responsibilities: Review sales drawings and designs for accuracy and compliance to Tharp design standards and product catalogue. Produce manufacturing drawings and production reports according to drafting work instructions. Create detailed manufacturing drawings or 3D exploded view for production personnel and installation personnel for clarity and ease of assembly. Support Sales, Operations, Installation and Service to ensure optimal customer experience. Specific functions as directed by the supervisor to facilitate training and effective output. Maintain a safe and quality-based effort for any products that are processed. Develop skills and proficiency at assigned tasks. Process work in a timely, quality focused manner. Display a basic understanding of the information contained in the Tharp cut sheets and prints Display a baseline understanding of the Tharp Quality requirements Participate in Kaizen (continuous improvement) events as required. Other duties as required. Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Proficient Computer skills – Win 10, Office suites including Exchange, Excel, and Word. Ability to work in a team environment Attention to detail Appreciation for quality Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Experience with CAD or drafting programs such as Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Micro Valem, 20/20 Design experience Computer programing experience Education or Formal Training: High School Diploma Licenses needed: N/A Experience: 1 year of 2-D drafting experience or 1 year of cabinetry experience preferred.
