Permanent full-time opportunity Be a part of an iconic Australian company Competitive salary with growth opportunities The Role Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year! We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Manufacturing Employee to join our team at Chelsea - Vic. This role ensures that all Production functions are carried out effectively, efficiently, and timely and delivers products safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with minimal waste in the correct quantity when required. The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work the morning shift, Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 AM and finishing at 1:00 PM. Responsibilities Operate production machinery and perform changeover processes Work efficiently to minimise downtime Report safety incidents and maintenance requirements promptly Maintain high quality and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations and company procedures Accurately record production data and complete quality documentation About you Experience in a dairy or manufacturing environment (highly regarded) Mechanical aptitude with basic computer literacy Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn Effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate within a high‑performing team A forklift licence will be well regarded Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
