Description
Responsible for implementation of continuous improvement projects and new product programs that will require product/process validation and proper engineering documentation. Influences, guides, and manages internal/external resources to achieve critical program goals. Develops strategies and actively communicates them to and with component group to improve production yields, process and methods. Provides significant guidance and approval regarding technical strategies and approaches. Performs troubleshooting on new and existing products/process problems as related to design, material, or processes. Designs and coordinates standard engineering tests and experiments. Contributes to the development and monitoring of area budget through regular analysis of cost and spending. Bachelor's degree in engineering 5+ years in technical leadership roles, preferably in the medical device industry 3+ years of direct people leadership experience Track record of strong cross-functional collaboration, influence, and project management enabling highly effective project teams Ability to communicate technical issues and risks transparently and concisely across all levels of the organization Fluent in English and Spanish
