Description
This position will be based out of Bangalore, directly reporting into the leader of High-Volume Manufacturing team and closely working with Global Manufacturing sites. Manufacturing Engineers at HVME work collaboratively with engineering teams across geographies ensuring manufacturing readiness for Lam products and resolving build issues to ensure a flawless build. We are in constant pursuit of manufacturing excellence through continuous improvements and innovation. Create visual instruction for manufacturing assembly using standard ppt template and releasing into Manufacturing Execution System Collaborate with Tech writers, Manufacturing engineers, Production planners, Industrial Engineers from global manufacturing sites on build specific activities Ensure line readiness activities are complete before the launch in manufacturing. This includes review, approve, and implement change orders into work instructions, create assembly build sequence and other related activities Support build by providing short term corrective action to avoid any line down situation Implement Non-Standard Request from customer by planning the build sequence accordingly Bachelor's in mechanical/industrial/production engineering with minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in creating Operations Method Sheets/Assembly Process Planning/Work Instructions for large assemblies Good understanding of Mechanical drawings and standards, Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BoM) Management, Engineering Change Management and Release process Demonstrated strong problem solving and decision-making ability while resolving build issues Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Planning, and Industrial Engineering) to improve products or assembly process Knowledge of Semiconductor equipment, Capital Equipment industry and its manufacturing processes Experience in manufacturing shop floor Experience in Industrial Engineering Knowledge of DFX process (Design for Manufacturability, Cost, Assembly and Serviceability) Experience in virtual manufacturing/build Experience in Teamcenter Engineering and Op Center (Siemens)
