Position Summary: AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Seattle, WA that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries. Manufacturing Engineers are owners of the build plan and ensure compliance to design configuration, build plan, and process requirements, Manufacturing Engineering performs Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) analysis and develops an integrated build plan consisting of work instructions for assembly/fabrication, kitting, tooling, inspection requirements, and other outputs to endure fabrication meets design, test, and program requirements. Essential Functions: Participates in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines Identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build Conducts producibility to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements Provide producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule Create manufacturing plans Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies Collaborate with Supplier Management to establish Lab test integration requirements and opportunities. Requirements Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree required from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry is required. Knowledge with electrical/mechanical manufacturing process and assembly sequencing Prior experience working on Boeing Manufacturing System Preferred Skills: 3 + years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment 3 + years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams 3 + years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role Experience with space or military electronics Experience with using manufacturing tools (PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, GOLDesp)
Responsibilities
