With a strong focus on precision sheet metal & welding fabrication, sound attenuation, and integrated mechanical/electrical systems, ASC delivers high-quality, custom-engineered solutions to data and infrastructure clients across the U.S. We are in search of a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer. Key Roles & Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes for generator enclosures, acoustic packaging systems, and industrial sheet metal assemblies Design and improve production layouts, workflows, tooling, and fixtures Support new product introductions from design through production Help create and maintain standard work instructions, routings, BOMs, and process documentation Identify and implement cost-reduction and waste-elimination opportunities Improve production efficiency, throughput, and labor utilization Collaborate with design engineering to ensure DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability / Assembly) Support equipment selection, commissioning, and automation projects Provide technical support to production teams and supervisors Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and manufacturing best practices Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Manufacturing cycle time reduction Production efficiency and throughput improvement Cost savings On-time production delivery performance Process capability and yield improvement Quality defect reduction Successful implementation of new equipment Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 3–7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, or industrial packaging environments Experience with manufacturing heavy industrial equipment (preferred) Experience in a role supporting production operations Experience in manufacturing documentation Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production systems Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a cross-functional teams Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing Automation and robotics exposure Project management experience Data-driven process optimization
