Job Description We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with 3+ years of experience in industrial assembly lines, preferably in the HVAC industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes focused on assembly line operations, while collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Quality, Scheduling, Design Engineering, and sheet metal Fabrication. This role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools and presenting solutions to higher management. The candidate will also take ownership of projects, acting as the lead and primary point of contact with internal and external contractors and contributors. As well as identifying bottlenecks, implementing solutions. A strong background in 5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques is essential, along with the ability to lead and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry or industrial assembly lines. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Familiarity with assembly line operations and sheet metal fabrication processes. Proven ability to take ownership of projects. Be able to write Capital Appropriation Request (CAR), present in sourcing board meeting, and manage the budget for the project. As well as acting as the lead and primary point of contact for internal and external contractors/contributors. Expertise in problem-solving tools: fishbone analysis, 6M, 5Whys, and root cause analysis. An ability to identify bottlenecks, suggest solutions, and implement changes effectively. Strong background in Lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Gemba, and Kaizen. Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills to interact with higher management and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification highly desired).
