JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations by designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining, processing, and material handling.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment and demonstrates strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (required).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on manufacturing experience (early-career candidates may be considered).
  • Proven experience in process improvement, tooling design, and production optimization.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Green Belt Certification and/or working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in high-compliance, regulated manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes, production layouts, and procedures to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product performance.
  • Develop sequences of operations and specify procedures for tool and equipment fabrication.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams regarding design concepts, equipment utilization, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency, identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.
  • Ensure compliance of processes and procedures with all regulatory and organizational standards.
