POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join a fully-integrated supplier of Made in the USA plastic products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of relevant Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with plastic injection molding and/or prior experience converting equipment is a PLUS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and design manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine solutions on up to 90 production machines.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and improve workflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing technologies.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to manufacturing staff.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide manufacturability feedback.
