POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of manufacturing strategies and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct process analysis and optimization using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop prototypes and oversee production trials to ensure feasibility and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485.
  • Utilize MRP and ERP systems for effective production planning and inventory management.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with SolidWorks for design and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems including OQ, IQ, and PQ.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
