POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and implementing cost-reduction strategies. This position requires a strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing principles and CAD proficiency, with opportunities to utilize advanced engineering techniques and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering drawings and models.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance production workflows.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions and quality assurance protocols.
  • Assist in the management of projects related to process improvements and equipment upgrades.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques and principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for engineering design and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience in product design and quality assurance practices is desirable.
  • Understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes.
  • Effective project management skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
