Job Description Manufacturing Engineer takes the product ownership inside supply chain, and is responsible for managing product performance; redesigning product to enhance quality and performance; developing manufacturing and test processes for new product introduction; resolving internal and external quality issues on a daily basis to ensure on time delivery of highest quality product; Proactively driving continuous improvement in the areas of responsibility to improve process efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost. The manufacturing engineer may be responsible for developing special solution to meet customer needs, etc. The primary duties and responsibilities will be 1. Lead NPI product PCA electric system technical DFM review: EE/FW engineer need work with RD team to conduct the PCA related product electric system DFM review for new product, ensure the product’s electric system and PCA boards design meets manufacturing requirement, detect the cost saving opportunity in early phase. 2. Lead/support Resourcing, AOS or VE projects: EE/FW engineering will work with cross team to support resourcing, AOS, value engineering projects by sharing EE perspective assessment to define the qualification test plan, and implement the defined test plan on schedule. 3. Provide technical support to day-to-day product issues: EE/FW engineer will support to all product related issue that associating product electrical performance impact, which includes customer quality issues, production line trouble shooting, product/part/process change validation, etc. 4. Participate or act as co-developer in digital/automation project to drive the transformation to smart factory 5. Technical Lead – A Mfg Engineer may be assigned as the technical lead to lead team achieve breakthrough on key technology of product/manufacturing process, and develop technical solution in critical customer quality issue, NPI, VE and other projects. Qualifications The required qualifications are as below: - Bachelor degree or above in EE Engineering discipline; - 1 year or above working experience in R&D and manufacturing environment; - Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage program/project; - Demonstrated strong communication skill and can communicate in all levels; - Demonstrated broad knowledge of manufacturing operations including supply chain management, product quality management, analytical skills in total cost analysis, statistics, etc; - 6-sigma experience is preferred; - Good digital skills, for example, advanced data analysis, IIot, and etc. - Good English in writing, reading and speaking. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
