JOB SUMMARY

ExoTerra is a world leader in solar electric propulsion systems and space exploration satellites. The company develops Hall Thrusters, propulsion modules, microsatellites and launch vehicle upper stages. We have been awarded multiple propulsion module and satellite contracts and are in need of a Manufacturing Engineer to support.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree
• 0-4 years experience
• Experience with electronics manufacturing processes & test
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in the US

DESIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree- Engineering Discipline preferred
• Experience with Spacecraft Fabrication and Test
• Experience with AS9100 processes and certification
• Experience with non-conformance resolution
• Experience with manufacturing process development
• Experience with Programming
• Hands-on building

The Manufacturing Engineer at ExoTerra will work with multiple disciplines to build, integrate, and test spacecraft and propulsion electrical systems at the subsystem and system levels.
This is an all-encompassing role to take designs from inception, into production and beyond into testing and final delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with building mechanical structures, working in a team environment, and have good technical writing skills.
