The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing systems to produce high-quality project efficiencies. Their tasks include developing manufacturing processes, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the integration of equipment and technology. They collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as design, production, and quality assurance—to address challenges and meet production goals.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s degree in engineering discipline in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering with relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of one year experience in industrial design and/or project management with robotics and industrial automation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully work in teams, take personal initiative, and effectively manage themselves in a somewhat unstructured environment.
  • Provide continuous improvement initiatives by recognizing and correcting internal and external processes when necessary.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering with relevant work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in industrial design and/or project management experience with robotics and industrial automation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other engineering tools.
