Description

IN SUMMARY:

  • Provide day-to-day engineering support and expertise in production for released products.
  • Evaluate new and existing production lines to identify improvements to the manufacturing process, analytical requirements, and equipment; advise appropriate engineering personnel on manufacturability, process robustness, and equipment requirements.
  • Ensure the smooth transition of new products into manufacturing.
  • Coordinate the activities of personnel involved in engineering investigations and new product pilot runs.
  • Conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of process or analytical procedure development to determine process control and identify improvements; evaluate findings and coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure adherence to specifications and execute improvements.
  • Maintain active and continuous contact (not restricted to formal meetings) with Engineering and Production.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electronics / Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production engineering or a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of electronic engineering principles, practices, and techniques commonly employed in the design and production of electronic products.
  • Excellent engineering & root cause analysis problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate engineering concepts to non-engineers.
  • Organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
