Description
New Product Integration: Lead the introduction of new sensor products and supporting systems into manufacturing, including process development, validation, and ramp-up. Test System Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test systems for product verification and calibration. Controller & Calibration Systems: Specify, set up, and optimize controllers and calibration equipment to ensure product accuracy and reliability. Quality Control: Implement Lean Manufacturing standards to ensure processes catch defects and products meet specifications. Process Improvement: Implement opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Issue Escalation: Work with a high degree of urgency and extreme ownership to root cause and counter measure various cell issues that may arise. Collaboration: Work with operations leadership to problem solve, root cause and ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes. Equipment Management: Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment. Documentation: Create and maintain process, fixture and test procedure documentation. Compliance: Ensure processes meet or exceed stated compliance requirements Management System: Assess, approve and implement Engineering Change Notifications, Oracle Configuration Management changes, and Letters of Deviation. Technical Support: Provide Operations Team members fixture, test procedure, and process support. Training: Provide Operations Team members training on fixture, test procedure, and processes. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering discipline 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing application Proven experience in setting up and validating test systems, controllers, and calibration equipment. Problem solving skills - Capable of troubleshooting issues and implementation of counter measures Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Work efficiently in a demanding, fast paced environment Must be able to assemble facts from various data points, analyze the data, and provide informed recommendations to management on counter measures Must be able to work with minimal supervision Possess the computer & Analytic skills to function effectively Experience with LabView, CAD or CREO Electro-mechanical device verification/validation testing Hardware electrical test and verification Experience with regulatory compliance Experience in embedded software/firmware Gas detection equipment experience Existing knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success Basic operational knowledge of Oracle, Salesforce, JIRA and Windchill
