Looking for an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to be part of an engineered driven company. This highly skilled individual must be willing to take calculated risks and make decisions to move processes forward within a precision machining environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Aid in process improvement initiatives/Continuous Improvement (CI).
Update setup documents/CAD CAM/ Solidworks / ERP systems / Microsoft products.
Develop technology for world class machining. Continue forward development of the company through project management/Creative use of technology.
Work with programming/setup personnel to enhance their skills.
Assist with establishing and maintaining a lean manufacturing environment.
Work on fixture modifications and tooling improvements.
Help support shop floor when manufacturing problems arise.
Be involved with the processing of new projects, development of tooling, fixtures, technology aids.
Qualifications and Experience:
5-10 years of experience in processing, setup, programming, and troubleshooting precision machining issues.
Committed to continuous improvements throughout the manufacturing/machining processes.
Must have lean manufacturing background and be familiar with Robotics.
Experience with DMG Mori, Brother, Miyano, Okuma, Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls desired.
Experience using CAD/CAM software, Solidworks, microsoft suite, and ERP systems.
