We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I – Machining Department to support continual improvement and quality support within the machining department. Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience Company Benefits include: Health Insurance through Cigna (optional HSA plan with $10 per pay period matching) Dental and Vision insurance Long Term Disability Insurance, paid by employer Group and voluntary life insurance 401K Retirement Plan Safety shoe allowance 3-weeks PTO accrual and paid holidays Parental Leave Educational reimbursement Company Perks include: Flexible 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off Catered company lunches on a quarterly basis Company Summer picnic for employees and their families Department activities budget Company Happy Hours, Trivia night and more Casual dress code Employee Referral Program Employee Recognition Awards Manufacturing Engineer I – Machining Department Job Responsibilities: Process development for new product launch and existing process optimization Develop and maintain process documentation as a foundation to ensure good quality products Hands-on troubleshooting, data analysis, and day-to-day support of machining operations to ensure consistent quality and productivity Assisting with programming and setup of shop floor CMMs (Renishaw) Escalate quality issues in a timely manner Analyze production process and quality data to guide continual improvement decisions Contribute to and/or lead continual improvement projects Work closely with production quality and machinists on root cause analysis and corrective actions Train Machine Shop employees on new and existing processes Ensure smooth implementation of engineering changes within the department through clear communication, planning, and synchronization of revision changes Work closely with the Machine Shop Supervisor to give input on scheduling and coordination of projects Diagnose, repair, or rebuild Machine Shop equipment as needed Statistical analysis and data management Project management as needed Perform other tasks as assigned Manufacturing Engineer I – Machining Department Qualifications: MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience (required) 2+ years of engineering experience (required) Minimum of 1 year of experience in a machine shop or production machining environment serving an engineering or quality role (required) Experience with DMIS or other CMM software (preferred) Familiarity with CNC machining equipment, cutting tools, and related metalworking technology (required) Experience with manual inspection/measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges (required) Experience in Solid Works or similar 3D modeling software (required) GD&T training and/or certification (preferred) Experience with Mastercam or other CAM software (preferred) Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing tools such as kanban, kaizen, poka-yoke, TPM, SMED, root cause analysis, bottleneck analysis, and standardized work (preferred) Experience in an ISO9001 certified facility (preferred) Employment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-Verify Location: Thornton, Colorado How to Apply: https://recruiting.paylocity.com/recruiting/jobs/All/1078af34-40eb-4989-83a3-3a2138324f69/Air-Squared-Manufacturing-Inc%20 Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / year, based on qualifications and experience For information on Air Squared, visit our website at https://airsquared.com/ If you need an accommodation seeking employment with Air Squared, please email Careers@airsquared.com or call (303) 466-2669.
