Description
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer must be a highly skilled and detail-orientated manufacturing engineer with a strong background in CNC precision machining. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and optimising manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production Key Responsibilities:  * Develop, implement, and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing products. * Create detailed process documentation, including work instructions, setup sheets, and tool lists. * Evaluate and select appropriate cutting tools, fixturing, and machining parameters. * Conduct process capability studies and root cause analysis of machining-related issues. * Lead or support NPI projects, ensuring manufacturability of components. * Collaborate with engineering to provide DFM/DFA (design for manufacturing/assembly) feedback. * Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, scrap, and cost. * Train and support machinists on new processes and best practices. * Support maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment as needed.   Job Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, or related field * More than 5 years of experience in a CNC precision machining environment. * Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of machinists and other staffs. * Experience with CAD/CAM software * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and project management skills. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling across departments.
