As we continue to build our legacy, we are hiring an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work on New Product Introduction. Responsibilities: Work with the New Product and Design Engineering teams from project concept and approval to down-the-line (DTL) to ensure a smooth and timely introduction of parts and products into production. Process and implement Engineering Change Notices for products to ensure the design is producible as drawn, methods are defined via routing, and that all time standards, process plans, work plans, and tool orders are defined appropriately. Coordinate material and tooling availability with appropriate stakeholders. Develop and implement efficient and safe work methods, lean material process flows, and ensure equipment and tooling for products is efficient and cost effective. Drive product and process quality by reducing costs, improving lead times, and improving on-time delivery through well-thought-out and driven product strategies. Provide training and written instructions/standard work related to products to manufacturing personnel for critical processes to develop and maintain process capability. Plan and implement shop layouts to improve material flow and increase plant capacity and coordinate placement of new equipment to optimize existing shop capacities and new production processes. Establish time standards by use of approved Industrial engineering practices for accurate measurement of work performed and facilitate the appropriate approvals to implement into costing system. Interpret data and analyze results from business systems in order to consistently meet timelines and provide status updates to key stakeholders. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required Years of Experience: 3 or more years of experience required Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), SAP
