MANUFACTURING ENGINEER III – CADENCE (FLORIDA) Cadence is a contract manufacturer of medical devices, and we’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer III to support our growing operations in Florida. This role focuses on improving how we build our products—making processes more efficient, more reliable, and more cost-effective. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams and play an important part in keeping our manufacturing running smoothly. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL DO * Review and improve manufacturing processes to support quality, output, and cost-reduction goals. * Develop and update process control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. * Work with design engineers to make sure new products can be manufactured effectively. * Lead root cause investigations and help solve day-to-day production issues. * Evaluate new equipment, tools, and technologies to determine whether they make sense for our operations. * Support ongoing lean and continuous improvement efforts. * Help maintain compliance with ISO requirements and general manufacturing standards. ---------------------------------------- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a comparable role. * Experience with CAD software and basic manufacturing simulation tools. * Solid understanding of Lean/Six Sigma concepts. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis. * Experience working in an ISO-certified facility. * Background in both metals manufacturing and plastic injection molding. * Able to work independently and take initiative. * Practical, positive, “get it done” mindset. ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Lean or Six Sigma certification. * Experience with automation or robotics. * Background in durable goods manufacturing. * Medical device manufacturing experience. * Experience leading cross-functional projects. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU’LL BRING This role involves hands-on engineering work, problem-solving, and steady collaboration with the teams on the floor. CAD skills, data analysis, and a working knowledge of lean tools will be used regularly.
