Company Description manufacturing company Job Description Engineers with a background in equipment design and manufacturability are needed for jobs in eastern AR. Excellent starting salaries and benefits. Relocation is available to qualified candidates. You should have and engineering degree and at least five years’ experience with a manufacturing company that uses complex production machinery. Well-versed in equipment specification and design, rebuilds, installation, and modification for reliability improvement. • Using your background in manufacturing engineering, determine machinery and/or power requirements that will meet production volumes. • Design new products, or revisions to existing products • Develop bills of material & recommendations for spares for all projects • Track/forecast costs to maintain good budget control • Provide training to end users on changes to existing equipment and new installations • Work with technicians and contractors on equipment installations. This job may require occasional overnight travel around once a month. Qualifications · BS degree required in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Industrial Engineering (BSIE), or similar · You should be able to read and develop drawings in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks. Your safety knowledge should include OSHA and other safety codes, powered industrial vehicles, heavy machinery. · Two to five years' experience in equipment maintenance and manufacturing engineering in a manufacturing environment. · Motivate and train employees, making sure that safety always comes first.
