Description:

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

At least three years of experience in precision engineering, aerospace component manufacturing, or mass manufacturing
Proficient with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX Unigraphics
Skilled in CNC machining and programming using CAD/CAM, with a solid grasp of tool and fixture design
Strong ability to interpret and analyze customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards
Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, enabling interaction with individuals across all levels.
Knowledgeable about IoT sensors/gateways, hardware testing, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with specialized processes like heat treatment, welding, and non-conventional machining

ABOUT THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEER ROLE:

A global aerospace company is looking for Manufacturing Engineer to optimizes production processes to ensure efficiency and quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and meet production goals. They are responsible for analyzing manufacturing methods, designing production workflows, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Select cutting tools, define cutting paths, and set machine parameters
Ensure CNC machines are well-maintained and calibrated
Troubleshoot machine issues and minimize downtime
Continuously evaluate and enhance machining processes for efficiency and quality
Implement new techniques and technologies to optimize production
Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain standards
Monitor processes to ensure adherence to specifications
Provide feedback on design improvements for CNC machining
Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
Optimize processes to reduce waste and improve resource utilization
Ensure compliance with safety regulations in CNC machine operation
Implement safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards
Maintain accurate records of CNC programs and production metrics
Generate reports to track progress and communicate results to management
