Roles & Responsibilities

Develop, plan, and optimize manufacturing and fabrication processes for steel structures, conveyors, and industrial equipment. Lead and support new product development , conveyor system fabrication, assembly, and on-site installation , ensuring alignment, commissioning, and performance standards. Prepare and review manufacturing drawings, fabrication layouts, BOMs, and method statements . Supervise machining operations including milling, lathe, drilling, bending, Laser cutting and fitting , ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality. Coordinate with local UAE vendors and subcontractors for materials, machining, surface treatment, and outsourced fabrication. Support and develop improvement concepts in coordination with customers, site teams, and internal stakeholders Manage shop-floor manpower (fabricators, welders, fitters, supervisors), allocate work, and monitor productivity and timelines. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and Dubai/UAE statutory requirements . Support cost estimation , process feasibility, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, productivity improvements). Resolve manufacturing and installation issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure on-time delivery of projects while maintaining quality and cost targets. Interface with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders during execution and site activities Prepare and develop 2D AutoCAD drawings including fabrication drawings, GA drawings, shop drawings, and installation layouts for fabrication and conveyor systems

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production Engineering . UAE experience mandatory (Fabrication or industrial projects).

Desirable Skills :

Strong knowledge of metal fabrication all type materials Mild Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steel (cutting, bending, welding MIG/TIG/Arc). Hands-on experience with conveyor systems (belt, roller, chain conveyors). Proficiency in machining processes : Sheet metal bending, CNC laser cutting ,Milling, Lathe, Drilling, Tapping. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T . Familiarity with UAE vendor base for steel, machining, coatings, and industrial components. Working knowledge of manufacturing standards, QA/QC procedures, and safety practices . Develop drawings using AutoCAD

Man Management & Leadership

Strong team leadership and people management skills . Experience handling multinational shop-floor teams . Ability to plan workloads, motivate teams, and enforce discipline. Good communication and coordination skills with supervisors and technicians'
