Leidos’ Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Hypersonics Integration team in Huntsville, Alabama.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BS degree in engineering from an accredited university and have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility requirements to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Military and Aerospace assembly techniques.

• Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings.
• Understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems.
• Create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs.
• Create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews.
• Provide floor support for integration, test, and assembly efforts.
• Work closely with the design, quality and manufacturing teams.
