MANUFACTURING ENGINEER MANUFACTURING PROCESSES AND PRODUCTION LAYOUTS (LITTLETON, CO)

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our client, a leading global security and aerospace company. In this role, you will perform in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
This is a 4-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4 days 10-hour shifts weekly). This role is onsite supporting our client’s Littleton, CO facility.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Creates and analyzes 3D-based model data environment to optimize the manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
• Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.
• Evaluate the performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigate and initiate corrective action for problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.
• Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
• Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in developing and implementing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
• Experience in creating and analyzing 3D-based model data environments to optimize the manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $65/hr. - $90/hr.
