Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSABILITIES:

The essential functions and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for designing and improving machine guards and safety devices to maintain a safe working environment for the operator.
  • Responsible for the analysis and continuous improvement of operating procedures including risk identification forms such as: Preflight Check List, Lock out / Tag out board, among others, in order to ensure that risks associated with workstations are identified and a means exists to reduce or eliminate the risk.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary teams to perform risk analysis of machines and processes; analyse Safety, Quality or Maintenance deviations; defines mitigation actions, documents such actions and informs the parties involved about the defined changes and updates.
  • It is responsible for systematically reviewing and improving working methods and documenting improvements to Standard Operating Procedures, informing stakeholders and updating documents in the QMS, in order to drive efficiency and continuous improvement in production operations.
  • Responsible for defining, designing and keeping up to date the appropriate measuring instruments and methods used within the production processes, documenting changes to the Standard Operating Procedure and updating the procedures in the QMS.
  • Responsible for designing production tooling, assembly fixtures, pokayokes, gages, etc., in order to contribute to keeping processes up to date with the technology available in the market.
  • He is responsible for designing and continuously improving the workstations of the production lines, keeping the focus on Safety, Quality, Ergonomics and Efficiency.
  • Actively participates in new projects: layouts, commissioning of new equipment and training of personnel in the operation of the machines, devices, tools and tooling involved in the process.
