For more information, visit https://epiqsolutions.com. JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work with outside contract manufacturers to enhance the quality of our PCB Fabrications and Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCAs). The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and work with vendors to ensure high-quality standards for PCBs and PCAs used in our cutting-edge products. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop and implement process improvements for PCB designs and fabrication to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance product reliability. Develop and implement process improvements for PCA assembly to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance product reliability. Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Engage in design reviews for PCB and PCA development and guidelines for best practices. Partner with R&D, production, and design engineering teams to prevent and resolve quality issues and support new product introductions (NPI). Direct material analysis for PCB designs. Support qualification and maintenance of PCB and PCA supply bases. Evaluate and recommend cross-sectioning equipment, fixtures or tools to improve PCB manufacturing precision and throughput. Support with cross-sectional functions for PCB internal defect analysis. Work with suppliers to ensure raw materials and processes meet quality specifications. Address supplier-related quality issues and drive corrective actions.
