We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate, design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and products. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, optimize processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Address concerns with current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain the tool and die management system for press operations in the blade warehouse. Design and fabricate assembly fixtures, gauges, jigs, and hand tools. Modify existing tooling to improve ergonomics, efficiency, and usability. Build prototype fixtures using shop equipment. Support Engineering during new product introductions. Determine effective problem resolutions and implement process improvements. Develop detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow. Research and develop new processes, equipment, and products. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and quality control systems. Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and applicable regulations. Collaborate with maintenance on certain projects to come to a solution. Perform some preventative maintenance items or equipment repairs, as necessary. Requirements Qualifications: Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering or the applicable experience required 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery Strong CAD experience (Solid Works) and proficient in Microsoft Office Programs Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organization and management skills High level of technical expertise Strong analytical thinker Experience in design and fabrication of sheet metal, stamping, pressing, CNC machining and assembly lines preferred Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies and electrical assemblies Ability to solve problems using critical thinking and planned experimentation Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing Knowledge of commercial foodservice equipment preferred
