Role Responsibilities: Interface with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of new products Estimate manufacturing costs Determine time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements Develop design methods and parameters, project methodology and/or project proposals Develop and use test procedures Participate in the preparation of concept and feasibility studies Gather operational and test data and evaluates results Evaluate work methods, procedures and policies Minimum Qualifications: Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale Legally authorized to work in the United State without future sponsorship needed Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship or related field experience Demonstrated leadership experience Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
