Nexxt Spine LLC, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an accomplished Manufacturing Engineer. We design, manufacture, and distribute an expanding portfolio of cutting-edge spinal implants and instruments, and we are committed to fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and employee engagement.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manufacturing Engineer supports production through the optimization of processes, and alignment of resources to tasks. The position conducts complex problem analysis, and leads varying projects focused on process improvement. The Manufacturing Engineer utilizes data to ensure production in a timely manner, increasing throughput, decreasing operational costs, and improving quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience (can include relevant internships and/or CO-OP experience.) Prior experience in medical device manufacturing or other highly regulated environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Technical experience/aptitude to support: CNC machining, laser etch, laser weld, blast, sonic cleaning, anodization and passivation, tray and pouch sealers, 3D printing and heat treat.
  • Demonstrated hands on technical skills.
  • Must have a hands on approach and highly visible to the production floor.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with lean, six sigma, and related production principles preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in complex process/product environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a wide range of activities and responsibilities.
