The Manufacturing Engineer ensures that production processes are consistently available and optimally uses best manufacturing engineering practices to develop products, equipment and tooling to improve manufacturing efficiency. This position is bridging between the operations and R&D department, which is key to designing new products and processes required for productivity improvements.

• You will apply sound engineering principals to support manufacturing engineering including machine design & modifications, control upgrades, integrate automation where appropriate and capital equipment introductions
• Create work instructions related to the process steps and flow
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality and R&D to develop new tooling and fixtures, and direct operations department work load
• Develop, write, and execute capital equipment requests and leads project installation and qualifications
• Support development of new manufacturing capabilities via advanced manufacturing principles that improve quality and productivity
• Actively participate in the facility’s daily processes on the shopfloor to assure alignment of operational priorities with R&D activities
• Support EHS and Quality department as needed to maintain compliance with local and corporate requirements
