Description The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting the department’s ability to achieve it’s goals and objectives. This includes leading cross-functional teams of associates to deliver the successful launch and operation of large-scale programs within specifics measurable targets that ensure customer satisfaction and meeting company objectives. RESPONSIBILITES Lead a cross-functional team in all assigned new project and other program activities, including development, integration and implementation to conclusion, on-time and within budget Makes assignments and organizes sub-teams as needed Coordinates the technical development process, procurement process and aggregate manufacturing planning to develop an executable MRP schedule Complete all assigned engineering tasks accurately and timely which may include: a. Specify, develop, validate and install new equipment and tools. b. FMEA, Process Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams. c. Part or fixture design and layout,CAD/CAM drawings, CMM operations. d. Appropriate Blueprint GD&T and tolerance stack-ups. e. Proper specification of materials and outside processes Maintain status reports of programs and customer commitments, monitors technical performance, scheduled, and program financials Conduct or attend production and program status meetings to report progress, identify risks, make recommendations, and take action Maintain accountability for program parts post “hand-off” to Operations Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to PAC staff in all program-related decisions Conduct customer communication and negotiation Identify, qualify, and present new business initiatives with existing customers to company leadership. Travel to customer or vendor locations Comply with all PAC policies Perform other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Must be definition of US Person Four-year degree in an engineering or other technical discipline or an equivalent combination of courses, training and experience Minimum of 2-5 years of successful recent essential duty related experience including understanding customer needs, leading cross-functional teams and driving project success Proven track record of project management success in an advanced manufacturing environment Demonstrable skills using Microsoft Office software tools, particularly advanced Excel skills Adept in preparing and delivering presentations and leading meetings Valid driver’s license Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with pneumatic systems and/or high-pressure fluidic systems PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of standing on concrete surfaces and at times, sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up/carry to 40 pounds loads from floor level to chest level Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment Fine motor skills required for minute adjustments COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: Enjoy a very competitive starting salary based on your knowledge and experience.
