Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the TPM & Facilities Manager, the Manufactoring Engineer is responsible for developing, improving, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes. This role involves working closely with the production team to ensure that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Manufacturing Engineer will also implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance production capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Analytical, problem solving, project management, facilitation, and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate others, resolve conflict, and encourage teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in lean material and information flow methodologies.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Self-starter, able to work with or lead cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to work under minimal direct supervision and be willing to take initiative to resolve problems and to help revise and upgrade processes.
  • Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with others inside and outside of the organization.
  • Experience working on automated manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the principles and practices of process design, development, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support for all aspects of production automation programs such as: test procedures, data collection validation, etc.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with automation and/or control systems (electronics) - automation industry preferred but not required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, Solid Works, Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, SCADA.
  • Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus.
  • Electrical knowledge 480V, 120V, 24V circuits
  • Pneumatic and hydraulics.
  • Validation protocol creation is a plus. (IQ, OQ, PQ)
  • Vendor management.
  • Safety Kizan creation and execution.
