QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 0-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing and production environment or equivalent aerospace component manufacturing shop.
  • Strong organizational and planning acumen with project management.
  • Strong analytical, communication skill and be a team player.
  • Able to work well under pressure in a team or as a single contributor.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

  • Proficient in data analysis and other engineering problem-solving tools will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in PFMEA and First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Understanding basics of coding (Phython, etc)

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Involve in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives. Manage the acquisition, delivery and commissioning of capital equipment, turnkey solutions & ancillary fixtures/tooling for manufacturing product lines.
  • Implement & deliver various product lines by developing the preparation, evaluation and equivalency of specific manufacturing processes.
  • Support the engineering initiative to deliver first article inspection (FAI) for various product lines.
  • Lead the journey towards process excellence, specifically in first pass yield improvements for mature product lines and overall reduction of Cost of Poor Quality.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement strategies and process mechanization.
  • Optimize manufacturing methods (e.g. processes in peening, acid clean, polishing, media finish etc.) and equipment used in part production.
  • Manage Maintenance Review Board (MRB) review and develop reduction plans to eliminate non-conformance in the production process.
  • Participate and apply root cause analysis to resolve technical issue relating to equipment and process.
  • Focus on a data-driven approach to analyze and resolve failure modes, make objective assessments and determine root causes.
  • Apply RTX CORE concepts in all aspects of manufacturing to support shop production initiatives.
  • Create and maintain various bills of materials (BOM), routings and work instructions in various forms in support of production needs.
  • Provide technical assistance to all functional departments to meet business goals.
