Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree in Engineering with 3+ years of engineering experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 1+ years of engineering experience, OR
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, OR
  • JD/PhD in Science, Technology or Engineering, OR
  • 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering or CMC Manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with the manufacture of Composites or Aerospace Components with coating operations.
  • Experience with tooling/fixture design and prototyping for manufacture.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Systems (CAD, CAM, CAPP, Manufacturing Execution System, Manufacturing Intelligence, SAP, Technical Publications, etc.) relevant to the business.
  • Experience with Method Verification Approval process steps and considerations needed to complete equivalent or better fixed process changes
  • Proficiency in using statistical tools to assess process performance against specification limits and identify variations
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of process capability analysis, including the ability to calculate and interpret key metrics such as Cp, Cpk, Pp, and Ppk.

  • Ensure that manufacturing processes are in full compliance to Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and meet the expectations of the Zero Harm program.
  • Promote a culture of zero defects, ensure processes and methods are developed and deployed to support Right First Time manufacturing, and drive improvements with utilization of RRPS, DMAIC and Systems Engineering tools.
  • Work with interfacing teams and local experts to ensure technical aspects of manufacturing processes and digital systems are understood and accounted for as required.
  • Responsible for self-development to meet the required competencies for the role and continuously seeking to expand knowledge and experience to increase effectiveness in undertaking existing and new activities
