DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented On-site Manufacturing Engineer-Hybrid, to join our team specializing in Electrolyzer-Operation for our Accelera by Cummins Site in Mississauga, ON.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS:

College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

EXPERIENCE:

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

EXPERIENCE DEVELOPING, MAINTAINING, AND UTILIZING PFDS, PFMEAS, AND CONTROL PLANS TO DRIVE ERROR-PROOFING AND RISK-REDUCTION ACTIVITIES

• Experience working in an Automotive manufacturing environment utilizing AIAG systems and lean manufacturing concepts

IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF VARIOUS COMPONENT MANUFACTURING PROCESSES SUCH AS INJECTION MOLDING, METAL FORMING, AND CNC MACHINING.

• Experience integrating, troubleshooting, and sustaining automation technologies (pneumatic, hydraulic, servo-driven and robotic) into automated assembly machinery.

• Apply advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices to Cummins’ processes.
• Maintain relationships and coach key stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment.
