Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will design, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. You will collaborate with project managers and report directly to the operations director.

SPECIFICALLY, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Manage manufacturing projects, ensuring quality and deadline adherence.
  • Attend weekly production meetings and collaborate with the project team.
  • Align production programs with contract timelines.
  • Request orders for materials and confirm labour requirements.
  • Monitor costs bi-weekly and report on job status.
  • Optimise procurement options and ensure multiple quotes for high-value items.
  • Review tender documents, specifications, and contract terms.
  • Conduct site visits for client meetings and information gathering.
  • Perform material take-offs and issue inquiries for quotes.
  • Prepare quotation submissions with necessary clarifications.
  • Review contract documentation and complete cost analyses.
  • Arrange site needs and develop RAMS with training certifications.
  • Prepare and issue handover documentation by contract deadlines.
  • Submit final accounts upon request.
