Description
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to reduce waste, cycle time, and setup duration Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies to enhance productivity and standardization Lead root cause analysis and implement mistake-proofing solutions using tools like 8D, A3, DOE, and 5-Why Support for New Product Introduction (NPI) & Strategic Projects Contribute to Strategic Transfer Projects (STP) and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives Ensure manufacturability through Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and accurate cost modeling Support implementation of CAD/CAM systems, NC programming, and inspection tools Assist in layout optimization using simulation tools and contribute to Industry 4.0 initiatives Evaluate and recommend new technologies aligned with capital investment strategies Promote and adhere to safety standards including lockout/tagout and ergonomic practices Participate in PFMEA reviews and implement robust error-proofing methods Work closely with operations, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve performance Provide technical support during customer visits and internal audits Contribute to capacity planning and layout improvements to support plant growth Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent). 5 years of professional applied experience in Transformers / Switchgear Manufacturing / Engineering Services. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or operations with exposure to welding technology and automation. Experience in transformer or switchgear manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, PPAP, and controlled processes. Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, or QS 9000 standards is a plus. Proven experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience with CAD/CAM systems and manufacturing simulation tools. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and digital workflows. Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset. Strong communicator with the ability to present technical ideas clearly. Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments. Adaptable, optimistic, and proactive in facing challenges. Fluent level of English language is required, due to the international exposure.
