Description We’re raising the standard for what a medium-duty truck should be — delivering vehicles, infrastructure, and support designed to work for you. The manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for process and tooling design. The position will provide direction to plant floor employees and other colleagues. The engineer will need to be self-motivated and a team player. Problem solving skills will be required to solve process, equipment, and product related issues. Data driven mentality and decision-making process. Ability to be flexible and adapt a dynamic work environment. What You Will Do Create Standard Work instructions (SWI’s) for new products Support Automotive production by leading a cross functional team to meet production deadlines and improve processes. Specify and order tooling required to meet product design requirements. Provide feedback to design on process limitations. Lead cost reduction through process improvement, quality improvement, and scrap reduction. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience Lean manufacturing experience is preferred. Proficiency in QAD and Catia preferred.
