Transitional opportunity. Lead the Stamping Region in FPS Maturity while transitioning into M/E Role at WSP as Launch begins in late 2026 / early 2027 Implement the Ford Production System operating systems and processes to global manufacturing standards. Foster a culture that lives the Ford Production System and uses it to drive and measure results. Lead Green Belt / Black Belt training Regionally for the Stamping Region during the period of transition at WSP. Establish a cadence to lead GB/BB training and coach as required all regional candidates on their projects Support Kaizen events at WSP / DCP / BSP / CSP. Coach teams at all plants as required in all aspects of running a constructive Kaizen. Support WSP and Stamping Regional CI specialists Coach, teach, and provide support and feedback on problem resolution and continuous improvement. Create a proactive performance-driven culture that listens, reacts and supports (effective communication, education, listening, trust) to capture the hearts and minds of the people Lead Manufacturing Engineering activities at the plant: including but not limited to Manufacturing Maintenance, Tool & Die Engineering, Launch and Facilities. Work well under pressure and be able to work under crisis management when necessary Established and active employee resource groups Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent in technical field Master Black Belt Certified 5+ years manufacturing experience in stamping Flexibility to work as required to support teams across all plant shifts. Possibility of supporting (4) Stamping plants for scheduled events (Woodhaven/Dearborn/Buffalo/Chicago) Demonstrated competency in leading Green Belt and Black Belt training. Demonstrated competency in leading Kaizen events at a Plant Organizational level. Leverage plant and support organizations as required. Broad production experience in a Vehicle Manufacturing Plant. Preferably with at least some in a Stamping Plant Prefer manufacturing background with practical experience in BOTH production operations AND Maintenance/Engineering. Strong Maintenance background with Facilities and Project Management experience preferred. Tool & Die experience or knowledge preferred Strong ability to interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel, and plant management Strong ability to present in front of senior management Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
